Known in the industry for her smile and charisma, Gracie’s modeling career began at the age of 18 after participating in a local modeling contest. Soon after, Carvalho moved to São Paulo and caught the attention of casting director/photographer Zee Nunes. She quickly became one of the most in-demand models in the world, completing her first season with an incredible 33 shows in São Paulo Fashion Week. She has appeared in shows for Karl Lagerfeld, Burberry, Anna Sui, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, BCBG, Leger, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, and Victoria’s Secret, among others.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Her editorial work includes the covers of Vogue Brazil and Hercules Magazine, as well as feature stories in Vogue Spain, Vogue India, i-D, Allure, W Magazine, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Elle UK, Teen Vogue, The New York Times Magazine, among others. She has appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, and Mac Cosmetics, among others.&nbsp;&nbsp;Gracie partnered with Beastmode (Gracie X Beastmode) launching an apparel line inspired by her passion for Muay Thai boxing. She was first introduced to the ancient martial art through a self-defense coach. She loved it so much that she went straight to the source and trained in Thailand.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Gracie engages in philanthropic efforts as well. She is an advocate for at-risk teenage girls and overcoming inequality in New York City’s public schools. She has partnered with Project Glimmer, a national nonprofit that works to empower at-risk teenage girls, to host a career workshop for foster girls graduating from both high school and college. She is also a regular supporter of Change For Kids provides critical support, experiences, and access so kids in New York City public schools can overcome inequity and reimagine their possibilities.&nbsp;
